 UPDATE: Issue Request and Device Registration Deadlines

Please note this update, dated 08 June 2020:

  • In response to issues faced by many organisations as a result of the Coronavirus outbreak, the Residual Mix Deadline (RMD) has been extended from May 15th to August 15th. This means that production from 2019 can still be included in I-REC Issue Requests until August 15th 2020, a three-month extension.
  • Where there have been difficulties in obtaining necessary evidence or documents, Production Device registrations and Issue Requests may continue to be accepted for dates on or after 1 January 2019.
The Board of the International REC Standard Foundation has confirmed that there will be no further extension beyond August 15th.
Despite this change to the deadlines, Registrants are urged to submit Device Registrations and Issue Requests as early as possible.

The International REC Standard (I-REC Standard) was developed to address requirements for a robust mechanism through which energy products from renewable sources can be certified through the electricity supply chain. If you do not have an account and are interested in knowing more about The I-REC Standard please contact The I-REC Standard organisation via their website www.irecstandard.org.
This site provides the primary data portal for Registrants and Participants in the I-REC market. Public activity reports may be directly accessed from this site, subject to the Terms of Use. Other than for the public reports, all services through this site require an active user account.

The first stage of roll-out of Evident, the new I-REC Registry, has now been completed. Whilst this has been thoroughly tested over many months, please contact us immediately should you encounter any issues.
